Grow with sterile box

For all destinations outside of the EU, we offr the serine growbox and the culture syringe to grow mushrooms.

The items are sent separately, the syringe is not labelled.

The grow box is sterile and sealed, it contains just organic substrate. It has a self-healing injection port and comes with alcopads to clean the injection port before inserting the needle. And it comes with a grow bag to place the box into when it will be fully colonized.

Use all 20 ml of the liquid culture for a 1200ccm box for optimal results!

The substrate will need about 3 weeks to become fully colonized. For optimal results keep it at temperatures around 23°C. It can be at a dark place but as the mycelium needs to breath, the box with the HEPA Filter lid on should not be places into a locker, drawer or any other place without fresh air.

After colonization of he substrate and opening the lid and placing the box inside the grow bag, spray it once with clean drinking water and let stand at a place with indirect day light. Never place o a heating or heat mat, never let direct sunlight shine on it!

After another 2 weeks, the mushrooms should start growing and be ready for harvest within one more week.

Harvest the mushrooms when the caps begin to open, do not let them open completely and let the spores out. They will show dark spots, when the spores fell out. That is no problem in respect of their potency and they can be dried and consumed just as "nice mushrooms", but the amount of harvests and the total yield will decrease.

After harvesting, water the box with clean drinking water for 1-2 hours (with lid on), exchange the water inside the bag, place the box back into the bag and after 7-10 days the next mushrooms will grow.

You can expect 2-3 harvests, up to 9 harvests are possible.
