The most famous exotic varieties around!
These strains are for experienced growers looking for new challenges!
Jedi Mind Fuck is a popular and uniquely named strain of Stropharia
cubensis. The name is inspired by references to pop culture, particularly the ‘Jedi mind trick’.
This reflects the strain’s reputation for delivering a powerful and mind-altering experience.
When cultivated, JMF is known for its rapid growth, producing large, dense mushrooms with thick stems and broad caps. The strain is typically vigorous and high-yielding, producing generous flushes under suitable conditions, making it a rewarding option for growers.
Fun fact: Despite its eye-catching name and reputation, Jedi Mind Fuck is still a Stropharia cubensis strain, meaning its effects are comparable in scope to those of other cubensis strains, rather than being fundamentally different.
Jedi Mind Fuck mushrooms are generally considered to be of medium to above-average
potency. They often trigger intense mental stimulation and life-changing thoughts. Users frequently describe vivid patterns and an energetic, immersive mindspace. The experience can be both playful and intense. It is more suitable for experienced users: a very special strain for experienced psychonauts
Jack Frost is a visually striking and relatively modern strain of Stropharia
cubensis developed through selective breeding. It is generally believed to be a hybrid combination of genetics from Albino Penis Envy (APE) and True Albino Teacher (TAT), resulting in a unique outcome.
Appearance and growth pattern:
When cultivated, Jack Frost is known for its characteristic morphology: it often produces thick stems and caps that may curl or turn inside out as they mature, sometimes exposing the gills in an unusual way.
Interesting fact: The name ‘Jack Frost’ is inspired by the mushroom’s ice-white appearance and unusual cap formations, which can resemble frost-covered structures.
Jack Frost mushrooms are generally considered to be above-average in potency and frequently produce a vivid and immersive experience. Users often describe pronounced visual effects, altered colours and a deeply engaging state of mind. The overall experience can be both uplifting and introspective.
Blue Ghost is a modern and visually distinctive strain of Strophaira cubensis. It is known for its pale colouring and pronounced blue bruising. Its exact lineage is not well documented.
When cultivated, Blue Ghost produces pale fruiting bodies with elegant shapes.
It displays striking blue bruising when pressed.
The strain can be somewhat delicate, but rewards careful cultivation with visually impressive results.
Interesting fact: The name ‘Blue Ghost’ reflects the mushroom’s pale, almost translucent colour, its appearance and the characteristic blue bruising reaction, which gives it a ghostly look.
Blue Ghost mushrooms are generally considered to be of medium to above-average potency.
They offer an experience aimed
at a vivid expansion of the senses and a slightly dreamlike quality; users often describe a smooth onset, followed by immersive visuals and a diminished sense of time, as well as a more fluid and atmospheric experience.
Marshmellow is another potent, exotic strain of rather short, plump mushrooms that you should try!
Waikiki Wave isn’t actually a mushroom, but dense mycelium that resembles waves. A very exotic and potent strain for the more experienced grower.
