Step 1

Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the outside of the growkit with a dry cloth. Remove the lid and save it for later.

Step 2

Place the box into the bag and close it with the clips.

Step 3

Wait for 10 days. In case that no mushrooms are growing by then, wash your hands and place the Magic Cake upright in the box, close the bag again and wait.

Step 4

The mushrooms should be harvested just before the membranes on the under cap start to loosen for best results. The mushrooms can be harvested having any size. While harvesting, gently grasp the stalk and twist it left/right. When the mushroom becomes loose, pull it out as completely as possible.

Important: the mushroom should be removed completely to make room for a new one.

Step 5

Fill water into the box, take the lid from step one and close the box. Let it soak over night, pour the water out and continue with Step 2

Which strain of mushrooms you prefer is completely up to you.

There is absolutely no scientific proof that strains make any difference whatsoever!

Even the origin of most strains is a mystery, as well as what sets them apart.

Having said that, Golden Teacher mushrooms are somewhat iconic among shroom friends. Maybe it's just the name, but if you are totally new to mushrooms, GT is a great strain to weave into conversations... "Ah yes, I made a batch of golden Teacher microdoses the other day. Such a distinguished variety!"

600ccm box yields about 200g fresh mushrooms (20g dry)

= 100-400 microdoses!

1200ccm box yields about 500g fresh mushrooms (50g dry)

= 250-1000 microdoses!

The actual amount you harvest depends on factors like:

• How soon after reception you start your kit, the sooner the better!
• Temperature, humidity, CO2 levels
• environmental contamination
• quality of water you use for the reset

Not with this product, but it is pretty fool-proof nonetheless.

Drying mushrooms

Drying mushrooms requires some sort of heat and air exchange, they DO NOT dry by themselves!

A heat mat is the cheapest and least invasive option. It does not become too hot or make noise and dries mushrooms within 48 hours.

Fruit dryers will also do the job really well, but they are more expensive and have higher energy cost. They also make a lot of noise.

Drying in an oven is usually a bad idea. Even when selecting 50°C it usually gets hotter than that. Heat can diminish how strong the mushrooms are!

Sunshine will also dry mushrooms. But again, radiation might damage their potency and they become paper light when they dry, so they might get carried away by the wind.

Storage

You can store fresh mushrooms in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Left at room temperature, mushrooms tend to rot and become mushy and fluid. Would not recommend!

Once they are cracker dry (breaking like a twig when you bend them), they're perfect.

Store your mushrooms in a dry, dark, cool place, sealed airtight.

If you're using mason jars, adding some foodquality dessicant bags is a good idea! Or vacuum-seal them and put your dry shrooms in the freezer.

This can prolong their usual storage life of 6 months to up to 12 months.

Magic Mushroom Honey

Mushroom honey NEVER spoils.

Do this if you want to keep your mushrooms potent for a couple of years:

1. Dry and shred them into powder
2. Warm up honey to about 40°C
3. Stir the powder into the honey at a ratio of 1/10
4. Fill into a clean jar, seal and store dark.

NEVER underestimate magic mushrooms. They are not a weak psychedelic.

Mushrooms are safe when taken in a secure set and setting, because their lethal dose is far beyond what anyone could eat.

But you NEED to educate yourself on the right set and setting! Preparation goes a long way.
